Welding wire
Welding wire from the low carbon Св-08, Св-08А and alloyed Св-08ГС, Св-08Г2С steels.
The surface of the welding wire classifies the latter into non-coppered and coppered. The copper coating is 6 micron. The wire surface shall be clean and smooth, with no cracks, laminations, scales, overlaps, dints, slag, rust, oil, and other contaminations. Sporadic notches, grazes, local mottle, and pinchers with the depth within the acceptable deviation depth of the diameter tolerance shall be allowed.

Intended Use
Св-08, Св-08А, Св-08АА are intended for the automated submerged arc welding of carbon steels with the 235-285 MPa yield limit, and also for the manufacturing of electrodes for welding of low-carbon and low-alloyed steel.
Св-08Г1НМА is intended for the automated submerged-arc welding of high-strength and cold resistant low-alloyed steels. It is used for single-pass or both-side arc welding of steels with the thickness up to 25 mm of various alloy types and categories of strength. (К55-К65)
Св-08Г2С is intended for the machine gas-shielded welding of critical and general use structures.
Св-08ГА is intended for the automated submerged-arc welding of carbon steels with 235-440 MPa yield limit (elements of bridges, pylons, pipes, pipelines, and boilers that operate under high pressure and high temperature environments).
Св-08ГСНТ is intended for the machine gas-shielded welding used in shipbuilding and chemical engineering.
Св-08ХМ is intended for the machine gas-shielded welding of oil and gas pipelines and high duty steel structures made of carbon and low-alloyed steel with the 235-440 МPа yield limit (elements of bridges, pylons, pipes, pipelines, and boilers that operate under high pressure and high temperature environments).
Св-10Г2 is intended for the automated submerged-arc welding of carbon steels with the 235-440 МPа yield limit.
Св-10ГА is intended for the automated submerged-arc welding of carbon and low-alloyed steels with the 235-440 МPа yield limit.
Св-ЮГН is intended for the machine submerged-arc welding in shipbuilding and chemical engineering.
Св-10НМА is intended for the automated submerged-arc welding of the high-strength and cold-resistant low-alloyed steels for high duty steel structures (elements of bridges, pylons, pipes, pipelines, and boilers that operate under high pressure and high temperature environments).
