Hot-rolled steel sheet
Hot-rolled steel sheets, 500 mm wide and more, is offered in coils made of sheets with the thickness varying from 0.40 up to 160 mm in sheets, and with the thickness from 1.2 up to 12 mm.
The sheet steel is classified:
- In terms of the rolling accuracy up to 12 mm in thickness, into:
- extra accuracy
- standard accuracy - In terms of the flat surface accuracy, into:
- extra flat surface accuracy
- high flat surface accuracy
- enhanced flat surface accuracy
- standard flat surface accuracy - In terms of the edge pattern:
- milled edge;
- sheared edge.
4 In terms of dimensions:
Width threshold deviations of rolled products with sheared edge, when delivered in rolls,
shall not exceed:
+2 mm – for the width range from 500 up to 1000 mm;
+5 mm - for the width range from 1000 up to 1600 mm;
+7 mm – for the width values more than 1600 mm.
The same, when rolled products are delivered in sheets, shall not exceed:
+6 mm – if the width is less than 800 mm;
+10 mm – if the width is more than 800 mm.
Width threshold deviations for rolled products with milled edge shall not exceed +20 mm.
Length threshold deviations of individually rolled sheets shall not exceed:
+10 mm – for the sheet length up to 1500 mm;
+15 mm – for the sheet length more than 1500 mm.
Length threshold deviations of the rolled products produced with a continuous rolling mill and cut into pieces shall not exceed:
+15 mm - for the sheet length up to 1500 mm;
+10 mm – as requested by the client;
+20 mm - for the sheet length from 1500 up to 3000 mm;
+25 mm - for the sheet length more than 3000 mm.
If requested by the client, sheet products can be produced with the following length threshold deviations:
+5 mm - for the sheet length up to 1500 mm;
+6 mm - for the sheet length from 1500 up to 2000 mm;
+10 mm - for the sheet length from 2000 up to 3000 mm
+20 mm - for the sheet length more than 3000 mm.
Items supplied in sheets with sheared edge shall be cut off under a direct corner. Cutting angle and camber shall not diverge from the nominal parameters.
